Getting started

The same order the app uses: allow Health, download days, then let iCloud carry them across.

On iPhone or iPad, HeartBond asks to read Health, then offers the latest 10 days. Those days appear on your other devices through your iCloud account.

Allow access to Health

On iPhone or iPad, HeartBond asks for permission to read heart rate, heart rate variability (SDNN), and heartbeat series from Health. Grant it. The app does not write to Health.

Nothing is read before you grant access. You can review or withdraw that access in the Health app under Sources.

Download days

The first run offers the latest 10 days. After that, the menu can download 10, 30, or 60 more days. A tap on the header fetches the current day and the previous day.

Choose how far back you want to go. You do not have to import everything at once.

Let iCloud carry the days across

Downloaded days sync through your iCloud account to every device signed in to it. iCloud mirrors in the background. A day appears on another device once one of its samples has landed.

If Health download is not available on a Mac, fetch on your iPhone or iPad. Days sync to the Mac over iCloud. A Mac without Health cannot fill a day itself.

Keep all samples, when you want them

Days default to High–low: the highest and lowest reading per five minutes. Tick Keep all samples on a day's row (or choose it from the row menu) to keep every Health sample of that day. Later downloads of it stay full. This is a standing one-day instruction, not a switch that fills your whole history.

Heart rate variability is stored at full sample density. It has no High–low collapse.
